The KiwiKids Aotearoa EduCare provides care and education for young children 3 and 4 years of age.
KiwiKids Aotearoa has many activities and qualities specifically designed to help children of this age grow and develop as independent learners and help them in their transition to primary school.
Children in this programme will be able to effectively communicate their immediate needs and continue to become more and more independent. KiwiKids children advance through the practise of self-help skills and strategies employed to enable children how to get help for themselves and for others, and gain an understanding of things such as eating healthy foods, respect for the natural world.
Our team of educarers is trained in the Virtues Programme which supports the team in developing trusting and respectful relationships with children, parents and whānau, and with each other. Your child will be provided with opportunities to discuss and negotiate rights and learn the concepts of fairness and justice. He/she will also be encouraged and supported to discuss feelings, and the feelings and expectations of others, and be given opportunities to make decisions and be self-reliant.
KiwiKids Aotearoa provides a highly stimulating and challenging learning environment designed to support your child’s development over a wide range of areas. Our facilities incorporate wide, open spaces to provide children with ample room for play and free movement.
