We have a vision for Childcare: to provide an environment where children can explore and learn in a natural, outdoor wonderland. Through this, we deliver a programme where children spend most of their time outdoors and will learn as they explore, discover, and make sense of the natural world around them.
A separate area, bigger than most backyards is provided exclusively for each age group. The bike track for the 3&4 year olds is an especially well used area.
Our ‘Care as Curriculum’ respects children’s needs for free movement and free play. Children in our care are given the time, space, and resources to explore and move freely in their world.
The New Zealand curriculum, Te Whãriki, is fully integrated into our service and KiwiKids shares its aspirations for children. By its standards we assess, plan, and evaluate childrens’ learning and development.
In our KiwiKids centres we hope you and your child will find a home away from home, where your child is nurtured and supported by our fully trained and qualified teachers and you feel completely comfortable with the quality of your child’s care. KiwiKids understands that this can be a difficult time for both you and your child, and our experienced team will do all it can to welcome you and help you to settle into our friendly, safe, fun, and loving environment.
